How do you make your job something you love?

Think about what you really enjoy in life and find a way to do it for your career! It is that simple premise that started our company 19 years ago, and which later started our Disney vacation division.

Our founder, Jami, was ready for a change after many years in another industry, and realized that traveling to exotic places was the only thing she still liked about her old career. She started a travel agency that did nothing but vacation travel: cruises, Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean resort trips, etc.

This concept allowed all the agents to be really expert in vacation destinations, with far more knowledge about the specific hotels, activities, and best deals than the average travel agent who has to pound out airline tickets all day. The company flourished under this concept for over a decade.

We had always sold Disney parks and cruises as part of our favorite vacation choices, but then something exciting happened: we began to see that with the addition of several self described "Disney fanatics" to our roster of travel agents, we were able to really provide in-depth customer service to travelers who wanted a magical dream trip to Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort or a Disney Cruise Line® or cruise and park combination.

We began a whole new division called MouseEarVacations.com® with very high standards – each agent is required to graduate from Disney's travel agent College of Disney Knowledge before they then take our own in-depth course, requiring a total of over 50 hours of study, exams and practice itinerary work before being allowed to serve any of our clients. In addition, the agents have visited the various parks and cruise ships many times, and are required to visit one of the properties at least once a year to keep their knowledge fresh (we refer to this as "real tough duty"). After each agent's visit, they write up a report that they share with the other agents, so that we all have up to the minute knowledge at all times.

When travelers request a quote from our site, it is just the beginning of the service our wonderful agents provide. We assign a Personal Travel Consultant to your inquiry who will guide you through the package options and remains your personal consultant for all your travel needs. Your Consultant will help with itinerary planning, or simply provide suggestions if you prefer a more casual experience. We will make dining recommendations and take care of your advance dining reservations. Our service goes right up to the last minute, with seating assignments for your flights, reconfirmation of many important trip details, priority seating arrangements, and detailed itinerary suggestions if you like. Your agent's extensive Disney knowledge and experience allows them to give you many insider tips to make your trip truly magical!
